Ben Franklin once said, "He who spits into the wind - spits into his own face." Hmmm, yes. Wisdom beyond comparison... I was trying to test out this statement by the process of experimentation, but however - the weather has been rather Michigan (or shall I say dare say - Washington?) for the last week or so. Alas, the wind blow’s not! And the founding fathers wisdom they betrothed to us - remains untested... I shall hope for better luck tomorrow.

Looks like the Sox are going to have some extra family time this year... Good luck next season Red Nation fans. But your team has doomed you. I knew as soon as the organization started making "official Red Sox Nation Membership cards,"(if you don't have it, your 'really not a real fan...) that your season, and teams future, was done, and gone. World Series - for you, are a thing of the past...
