The Political Zoo

I was just thinking of how lucky we are to have such interesting people running the Democratic Party. Just think for a second. Has there ever been a time in American history when a major political party, that had the loyalty of over 23% of the population of the United States, was run by a bunch of clowns? There probably has been at one time or another in both the GOP and Democratic camps a time when there was at least one jester in a leadership role. Then it was an abnormality. Today – it is the norm.

First, let us take a glance at the soul of the left wing of American politics, Al Franklin. Comedian he may be, to the modern day lib – he’s their mouthpiece. He also shows the state of the left wings message, a joke. His book ‘Lies, and the Lying Liars who tell them’ is a classic to be set next to Marx’s “Manifesto” on the family bookshelf. In it, he blasts his opponents, blasts his opponents, and blasts his opponents. The attacks are not what makes his book a classic however, but rather the lack of a message, or plan for the future make it a true masterpiece and family heirloom to be passed down along with the Volvo and 1970’s plastic peace pipe. The decline of the Democratic Party is for a reason. As the Bible says, “When there is no vision the people perish.”

Next in the tour of the zoo is DNC’s head Howard Dean. He is the ‘old faithful’ of the left, with frequent and feisty eruptions of vocabulary. And just like Yellowstone Park’s geyser, ‘Old Faithful’, draws millions of people to view its spectacle, Mr. Dean draws a crowd, united with the same goal of tearing down George Bush and the Conservative movement. Spewing accusations of abuses and wrongs, and ‘foreseeable future wrongs’ is what he does. However, as of right now his plan to fix them is ‘missing in action.’

You're giving Franken way, waaaay too much credit. Sure, he's a good liberal but he's not that influential with liberals. And, hey, quit picking on the comedians. It's not our fault the only conservative commedians are Dennis Miller and Jeff Foxworthy.

The soul of the liberal ideology is Thomas Jefferson, by the way.

SNS.........Is that a talking point memo from the GOP? Sure sounds like it....

Man, com'on, old Al being the influential with the liberals must be joke!!! Is Bill sh*t mouth, Foxratnews influential on the conservative circles? Reagan was the man behind the current success of the Repucks....

I have met Dean, U watch he will do some wonders in the next elections..smaller states we haven't won for a while will be in the blue side, U watch....he's liberal to the core, as I'm and we liberals have to be that, the save the nation :).

All I can say: YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!!

Wow, dem soldier. Good to see you're sticking to reality.
Still mad over Fox News, too.
Of course O'Reilly's influential, but he's hardly even mainstream Conservative.

True, samurai sam, it's not your fault that nearly EVERY celebrity on the face of the earth is an extreme liberal. The problem is that mainstream Democrats listen to these nuts and seem to get their talking points straight from 'em.
"No blood for oil!" "Bush lied, kids died!" "Bush hates black people!" etc., etc.
You saw the debate at Gayle's blog. I was called a terrorist fanatic because I disagreed with a liberal over war.

Anyone slightly more than libertarian gets instantly labeled as "extreme" by Democrats simply because they disagree with him or her.

I really don't see much future in a party that would keep Howard- "I-hate-Republicans-they're evil-they're brain dead-Bush might've known about 9-11" -Dean as their party chair.

Looks like you guys are having a fun time...

Samurai Sam:

You might be right about me giving Al Franken to much credit. But it does seem as if he controls the talking points of the Dem. party. I would say he's the Rush Limbaugh of the left. It's just not as many people listen too him. I know I won't, mostly because his bad language. Actually A.F. is Rex's favorite lib.
I guess mine is James Carville.

Dem Soldier:
No,this is not a talking point memo for the Republicans, it's just a rant..:) Ummmm, I never hardly watch Fox News soooo, I guess I must not be a real conservative...

Rebekah
Don't give up the ship!! I would disagree with you on the liberals having every celebrity on the face of the earth, remember the Terminator?

He's a wonder all right! I am watching with baited breath.

Now just watch Tash. He will come back here and tell me to suck his you know what. He's done that on my blog. I deleted him. He did it on Phantom Driver's blog but Phantom hasn't seen the comment yet or it would have been deleted. This idiot is bad news guys, as you will soon find out.
And if he's a soldier I'm George Washington.

Samurai Sam, a liberal, is reasonable and doesn't stoop to name calling. A rare bird, it seems. He will actually present his points rationally, without anger and have a real debate.

I second Rebekah's YEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAARRRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!!
Yup, Howard Dean will do wonders in the next election, but I doubt it will be helpful to the Dems side. He isn't a loose cannon; he's a live hand grenade, and he's helping the Republicans more than President Bush could ever dream of.
