Monday McCain Rally at the NH State House
Well late is better then never. I'm going to be doing some backtracking this week on some of the stuff that happened earlier on Saturday - Tuesday so it's not like I just flew out to Michigan or something, it's just old news. Aidan took the footage and spiced it to make a short video (below) of McCain's event on Monday afternoon. In the latter part of the video you can see a big chunk of snow fall from the capital building into the crowd behind the podium that McCain was speaking from. No one was hurt apparently by the mini avalanche and it actually happened again later on. I had a front row standing spot so I got to shake McCain's hand on the way in and out (as did Peter and Aidan) and also along with Aidan got an autograph from the senator. It was a really packed rally, probably around 2,000+ people, but one thing I noticed was that many of people at the rally were either global warming protesters or supporters of other candidates (such as us - although we were rooting for a McCain victory, and more importantly a Romney loss.) who were just there to see McCain. As it turned out fortunately , McCain ended up having enough supporters to win the New Hampshire primary and avert a Romney win.
Here's the video in all of it's glory...
